Tapered Amplifiers are combining excellent beam properties with highest output power from a single emitter. Their monolithic  design comprises a single mode ridge waveguide section with a tapered structure. They are the first choice for Master Oscillator Power Amplifier (MOPA) setups, inheriting all features of a seed source.

Now  eagleyard is releasing an even more powerful  3 Watt Tapered Amplifier  at a tuning  range between 770-790nm.

“This device meets sophisticated requirements such as for Rubidium Spectroscopy and Bose-Einstein Condensate Generation. Customers will fully benefit from the increased power level for multichannel solutions and lifetime extension on system level”, said Dr. Thomas Laurent, CTO.

eagleyard’s rich portfolio not only covers the 1 Watt and 2 Watt version of a 780nm Tapered Amplifier but also available center wavelengths at  650nm, 670nm, 690nm, 765nm, 795nm, 808nm, 830nm, 850nm, 870nm, 915nm, 925nm and 980nm at different power levels.
